Directions to Sissa Off-Road Training Centre

We are looking forward to your participation at our Sissa Off-Road Training Centre. The Sissa turn-off (Kitende /St Mary’s Turn Off) is located halfway between Entebbe and Kampala (just after Kajjansi). There are signs marking the way.

In the event you are delayed or get lost, please contact us; 0772 71 64 14.

Training will start at 9:00 am and finish by 5:00 pm. All you will need to bring is your 4WD vehicle, appropriate outdoor wear; hat against the sun or wet weather gear in case it rains, and please wear heavy boots. We will provide drinking water, snacks and lunch.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS

All participants will be required to sign an indemnity form before attending.

1. The participant, attending any On Course Consultancy Limited event, training demonstration or course does so at his /her own choice and at his /her own risk.

2. The participant agrees to indemnify and keep harmless On Course Consultancy Limited, their employees, officials, sub-contractors, representatives or agents, and any other persons using the facility, from and against all actions, claims or damage for personal injury and /or property damage however caused.

3. The participant warrants that his /her vehicle will at all times be covered by compulsory third party insurance in relation to bodily injury and property damage and have a valid road license. Vehicle must be in a roadworthy condition - any vehicles in an un-roadworthy condition will be removed.

4. The participant shall be licensed for the class of vehicle he /she is driving.

5. At no time should the participant attempt an obstacle if he /she is concerned or unsure regarding his safety or the safety of his /her vehicle. It is the participant's responsibility to constantly assess the conditions, the tasks, and the capabilities of the vehicle and him/herself at all times, giving due regard to the safety of the other vehicle occupants and the safety of the vehicle itself.

6. At no time, should the participant operate any equipment if he /she is concerned or unsure regarding his /her safety or the safe operation /capacity of the equipment being used.

7. The participant shall not consume any drugs, alcohol, or medication of any kind during the course, nor has ingested any drugs, alcohol, or medication during the previous twelve (12) hours to attending the event.

8. Seatbelts must be worn at all times.

9. If the participant puts property, staff or fellow students at risk, they will be pulled immediately from the course. No refund will be issued.
