The OnCourse team are highly skilled professionals who incorporate their years of knowledge and experience into every aspect of each student's training.

Mick Farmer is the training director for OnCourse.  He is recognised as the leading specialist with regard to 4wd operation in harsh and hostile environments (high risk environment driver training).

His teaching and driving qualifications include completion of Duncan’s Off-Road (Australia) and Gryphon Groups' (USA) "Train the Trainer" programmes. Further, he successfully completed BSR's (USA) Security /Police Driver Instructor course and Stoof International’s Armoured Vehicle programme. Mick is Vetec Workplace Trainer Level IV (Australia)-certified.

Having managed the OnCourse training school since 1998, he has personally trained well over 4,000 students. Mick teaches from a background of credibility and hands-on experience and ensures students are taught with clear demonstration and positive reinforcement - exceeding their expectations and maximising their skill levels.

William (Bill) Hyland is an adjunct Francophone trainer. He has extensive experience in fleet management and logistics. Bill spent several years working for NGO's in East Africa and the Sahel region (Sudan) setting up mechanical workshops and logistic support units and carrying out initial training on these subjects.  He has dealt with some of the most difficult terrain in the region and one of his most memorable experiences was convoying a fleet of Land cruisers from Port Sudan to El Geneina in West Darfur.  Bill also spent several years working for MSF Logistique in Bordeaux.

Paul Jackson is an adjunct defensive driving instructor qualified as an ADI UK. Having spent many years working in the oil sector he is conversant with and qualified to meet the demands of Health Safety and Environment (HSE) and HSE– Management System (HSE-MS). He has traveled to all corners of the world carrying out training within this sector and brings aboard a unique understanding of this working environment. He also has a basic spoken understanding of Arabic.

Sue Campbell is a Health and Safety trainer. She is a UK trained Accident and Emergency nurse and has a Masters degree in Public Health. She has conducted first aid training in various settings including for refugees emphasising the use of appropriate resources and prevention of injuries. Sue trains to a UK Health and Safety Executive standard; however, she can develop first aid courses to suit your needs.

Peter Knight (PK) is an adjunct ATV /Motorcycle trainer. He started riding motorcycles on his Dad's farm in New Zealand nearly 40 years ago. The School of Hard Knocks figured prominently. Since then he has become better at riding and looking after bikes.

Along with boxfuls of trophies, he won the British Motorcycle Racing Club FII championship in 1993 and a newcomers award at the Isle of Man TT races in 1995. He has driven 3 trans-Africa overland trips starting in the UK.

Mark Snelson, an adjunct trainer, is the Director of Security Advisory Services. He is a retired British Army Special Forces Officer, Ex-Director of Security for the Midlands Region (UK), and Ex-Maximum Security Prison Governor. His professional experience and unique approach ensured that the training systems were effective and realistic. His courses have been featured on the American TV programmes: Discovery Channel and Learning Channel.

Roy Oswick is an adjunct trainer. An ex-British Special Forces Warrant Officer, he was integrally involved with the British Royalty Protection Teams and is generally accredited with the development of the Royalty Protection Detail practices.

GroundTruth, a partner company, specialise in survival strategies for difficult environments. Their training and consulting services include hostile environment training (HEAT), crisis management, health and safety reviews, HE assessment and selections, etc.
