Basic Maintenance Course

Learn main points to carrying out basic vehicle inspections /roadside emergency repairs on your 4wd. Theory is followed up with practical demonstrations and exercises.

Module: First Line Maintenance

  • Learn basic maintenance safety; general hazards, poisonous substances, do's and don'ts, correctly jacking up a vehicle.
  • Carry out vehicle inspections and services; under bonnet inspections, internal and external inspections, main points of a 5,000 /7,500 /15,000 km service check, wheel changing, bleeding brake and fuel system.
  • Carry out emergency bush repairs; procedures to jump starting, preparing a vehicle for towing, repairing a leaking radiator, repairing a tyre, and more.

  • Duration: 1 Day.
  • Price: US$ 155.00 per Student (if you bring your 4wd).
  • Rate exclusive of 18% VAT.
  • Discount rates are available for groups of 10 or more students.

Group sizes: We require a minimum of 5 attendees to conduct a class outside of the regularly posted schedule. Our maximum class size is 8 students. Any additional students we recommend you move into a second session.
