Counter-Carjacking (urban) Course

Arm yourself with the information to: recognise the situation developing; avoid it (if possible); and finally how to hand over your vehicle (if necessary).

We place heavy emphasis on car-jacking avoidance through the "proactive mindset." Awareness is heightened by in-depth discussion of actual and pre-incident indicators. Drivers will receive basic behind-the-wheel practice which is then tested during role-playing scenarios.

Module: The Proactive Mindset (Incident Avoidance)

  • Avoidance through awareness; developing a pro-active mindset.
  • Carry out effective threat and risk assessment and analysis.
  • Route planning; identifying choke points, alternative routes and safe havens.
  • Understanding the decision making process, awareness levels and the effects of survival stress.

Module: Introduction to Security Driving (urban)

  • Understanding different types of car-jacking scenarios.
  • Avoid or comply; procedures for giving up your vehicle.

  • Duration: 1 Day.
  • Price: US$ 255.00 per Student (includes use of a 4wd training vehicle).
  • Rate exclusive of 18% VAT.
  • Discount rates are available for groups of 10 or more students.

Group sizes: We require a minimum of 5 attendees to conduct a class outside of the regularly posted schedule. Our maximum class size is 8 students. Any additional students we recommend you move into a second session.
