4wd Management Training Course
This driving course is designed for Administrators, Logisticians, Procurement Officers, and Transport Managers who supervise 4wd vehicles /SUV's and find it important to understand more about what and whom they are managing.
Further, students learn to develop driver and vehicle management systems which focus on "It's No Accident - Road Safety First" policies and encourage a team relationship between the passenger and driver which is synergistic; two sets of eyes are better than one.
Driving Course Modules Include:
- Introduction to different 4wd Systems (permanent, part-time, full-time, hybrid) and operation, including do's and dont's.
- The important aspects of vehicle inspections.
- Common driver /passenger issues.
- What to consider when buying a 4wd /SUV to suit your needs. Not all 4wd’s are the same, consider: live axle, independent front suspension, free-wheeling hubs, limited-slip differentials, etc.
- Introduction to 4wd equipment available on the market, their pros & cons and what’s needed for the field (lockable differentials, winches, raised air intakes, etc.).
- How to implement and manage "It's No Accident - Road Safety First" policies.
