4wd Basic Maintenance Course
Don't get stuck at the side of the road without any mechanical know how. Learn how to service and make roadside emergency repairs on your 4wd. Also, learn how to prepare your vehicle for towing. Correct procedures must be followed depending on whether you have a permanent or part-time 4wd.

Driving Course Modules Include:
- Understanding the mechanical drive train; 4wd drive train, differentials, types of 4wd systems, axle wind up.
- About Tyres; types of tyres, reading a tyre, importance of tyre pressures, tyre inspections.
- Learn basic maintenance safety; general hazards, poisonous substances, do’s & don’ts, correctly jacking up a vehicle.
- Carry out vehicle inspections & services; under bonnet inspections, internal & external inspections, main points of a 5,000 /7,500 /15,000 km service check, wheel changing, bleeding brake & fuel system.
- Carry out emergency bush repairs; procedures to jump starting, preparing a vehicle for towing, repairing a leaking radiator, repairing a tyre, repair wiper blades, repair a leaking master cylinder, and more.
