One-day Safaris through Ugandan Forests
Ever thought of going on a 4wd adventure but don't have much time off? Working together with the Natural Forest Management Project, On Course is in the process of developing one day 4wd trips through Uganda's Natural Forest Reserves. Following the Tread Lightly philosophy, On Course will instruct you on how to pass through difficult areas whilst making minimal impact on the environment.
Uganda launches 5 year road initiative
Following reports of Uganda having the 3rd worst accident rate in Africa, a road safety initiative has been set up by the Uganda Red Cross Society.
URCS is carrying out the road safety campaign throughout the country, starting at grass roots level by sensitising school children and rural communities as to the dangers of irresponsible driving. Included in their target group is road user organisations such as UTODA (Uganda Taxi Owner and Driver Association). On Course is volunteering its services through giving Defensive Driving presentations free of charge, as and when required.
