Driving Courses Designed For African Roads

Driver Training Saves Lives and Money

 Consider Frequency Breeds Severity!

Poor Driving Skills = Accidents!

The longer improperly trained drivers operate your vehicles, the more frequent and severe the accidents will be and the higher your vehicle maintenance costs will be.

Basic driving lessons are not enough. Advanced driver safety and training, tailored to handle African road hazards and your organisation’s specific needs, should not be considered a luxurious add-on to vehicle management but rather an integral, necessary part of the maintenance of your organisation’s fleet.

Poor Driving Skills & Habits = HIGH Operational Costs:

Does your organisation have high vehicle-maintenance costs? Poorly trained drivers’ attitudes and skill levels are primary and direct contributors. Here are several common examples you may have noticed:

  • High Fuel Consumption.
  • Excessive Tyre, Clutch & Brake Wear.
  • Collisions (including rolling vehicles).
  • Excessive Overhauls (Gearbox, Engine).

A 4wd is Not a 2wd

Operating an off-road vehicle effectively requires special techniques that need to be learnt and practised. Incorrect use of an off-road vehicle is life threatening. Research shows that 4wd vehicles are more likely to roll over than other lightweight vehicles.

  • A 4wd has a higher centre of gravity.
  • A 4wd may not hug the road as well.
  • An improperly loaded 4wd is more likely to roll after a sudden evasive manoeuvre or fast cornering.
